2018 ANNUAL REPORT

It was a great year.

 
 

The Heart Gallery visited 25 places in the community this year. We focused a lot of effort in Lucas and Wood County.  This is the largest population of children that are on the display. 

There are currently 40 children featured on the display.  28 children were removed from the board (these are not from the 40 current).  Of those 28, 6 children emancipated and the rest were adopted or are currently in adoptive placement. We are so thrilled that 22 children are now in forever homes as a direct result of the Heart Gallery!

 

Our partner, Adopt America, has initiated 4 homestudies for adoptive families that viewed the heart gallery at an event. There were two additional homestudies completed this year by Adopt America and one of those families adopted two children off of the heart gallery. The other family is being matched with a child who was recently referred to us.
